How can i hate not the process when i knew

Knew that i'd end up like this far away from you

And you'd be in your world so unaware 

I remember i prayed to god to let you paint me all shades of you

Green grass poking through your brown fingers in the bright sunlight

The way you'd catch my eye 

I couldn't get myself to overlook the sight

People come and people go 

But some leave stains over your body heart and soul

I can still feel you around when my cheeks swell up 

Not once i have smiled without thinking of you making me smile
