i have stars in my eyes

Pretty sundress in yellow white and pink

With little floral prints and the barefeet

Feet that touch the grass tickles and eyes 

Eyes squinted as i make eye contact with the sun

I run around till i hear the river flowing 

And as i see the water droplets glistening in sunshine

My eyes light up

I jump in the river with my feet on the river bed

The water feels cold but theres warm breeze 

I can feel my hair enjoying the wind

I step outside as the wet sand sticks to my feet

I dont take it off

I lie down trying to make a conversation with the river 

I ask her how has she been 

She giggles as i receive tiny drops on my face

I get up to look around 

I see the dream of teenage me 

A home a family of animals and love nature freedom 

It all sorrounds me and as i breathe in

It was all worth it 

The fights the anger the speeches the letters and all that you are yet now

It was all worth living and fighting for
